Can I get my Wedding
Video onto the Internet?
Yes. There are different options depending on whether
or not you want to provide private or public access,
and whether you want to provide the complete wedding
video, or a short-edit version. Here are all the options:
Private Access via our own Video Web Server
Site
Only those of your friends and relatives that you
give the correct Username and Password to will be
able to see your video files and download them to
their own computers.
We charge £50 to host your entire video for
two years after your wedding. Those who have access
will be able to download it to their own computers
if they wish.
We charge £25 to host a short-edit version for
two years after your wedding. Those who have access
will be able to download it to their own computers
if they wish. However bear in mind that we also charge
£50 for the additional editing in order to create
the shortened version.
Public Access via our YouTube Channel
Anyone will be able to view your video files, but
will not be able to download them to their own computers.
The maximum length of file time for YouTube is 15
minutes, so even a short-edit version usually has
to be in two parts.
There is no charge for the YouTube service, but you
would still be required to pay the £50 charge
for the additional editing in order for us to create
the short-edit version.
Alternatively, if you have your own YouTube account
which lets you upload unlimited file sizes, we can
provide the full-length video files for you free of
charge. You can call to collect them on a suitably
sized external hard disk. (USB pen drives are usually
not big enough). |
